Ο εκπρόσωπος του Κρεμλίνου Ντμίτρι Πεσκόφ δήλωσε σήμερα ότι η Ρωσία είναι ένας πολύ αξιόπιστος ενεργειακός προμηθευτής της Ευρώπης και «εκπληρώνει αυστηρά όλες τις υποχρεώσεις της».
Δήλωσε επίσης στους δημοσιογράφους μέσω της καθημερινής τηλεδιάσκεψης, ότι η Γερμανία έχει ενημερωθεί για τους «κύκλους σέρβις» του αγωγού φυσικού αερίου Nord Stream 1, ο οποίος πρόκειται να υποβληθεί σε συντήρηση από τις 11 έως τις 21 Ιουλίου.
Οι ροές φυσικού αερίου μέσω του υποθαλάσσιου αγωγού Nord Stream 1 από τη Ρωσία προς τη Γερμανία έχουν μειωθεί. Η Ρωσία λέει ότι ένα τεχνικό πρόβλημα που προκλήθηκε από τις κυρώσεις ανάγκασε την κρατική Gazprom να μειώσει τη ροή, ενώ η Ιταλία και η Γερμανία λένε ότι αυτό είναι ένα πρόσχημα για να στείλει λιγότερο φυσικό αέριο.
